Ever since I started running Mizuhiki workshops, I’ve dreamed of creating a kit so more people can experience this beautiful Japanese craft.
With this kit, you can make TWO pairs of earrings and learn the traditional art of Mizuhiki knotting.
It’s perfect for beginners or anyone who loves to try something new and meaningful.
10 Mizuhiki cords in your chosen color set
4 extra practice cords
1 pair of studs and 1 pair of hook findings
(optional: upgrade to sterling 4x silver 925 hooks +$5, or 4x 18K gold hooks +$5)
4 jump rings
A full-color 12-page instruction booklet
Liquid-type glue
Scissors
Pliers (for opening/closing jump rings)
No pliers? No problem! You can use tweezers or even your nails—it’s just a little trickier!
And of course… a lovely heart ready to try a new craft 💖

After practising, it’s time to make your own original earrings!
You can use 6 cords for one pair (3 cords each) and 4 cords for another pair, or mix them however you like.

When I first ran workshops, I used a single A4 double-sided sheet.
But for this kit, I wanted something more special — so I created a 12-page booklet packed with color photos and step-by-step guides.
