Create a Cute Koala Wall Decoration with Mizuhiki
By popular demand, I’m offering a Mizuhiki workshop that’s not jewellery!
In this fun session, you’ll learn the basic Awaji knot and use it to create your very own adorable koala wall hanging.
You’ll make the ears yourself, then combine them with other pre-prepared parts to bring your koala to life.
Perfect for beginners – come and enjoy the joy of knotting while making a one-of-a-kind koala!

Lavender & Mini Vase

Here’s another non-jewellery Mizuhiki workshop perfect for beginners!
Using beautiful colours like wisteria and purple, you’ll create lovely lavender stems with simple knotting techniques.
This relaxing and beginner-friendly workshop is a great introduction to Mizuhiki.
As a special treat, each participant will receive a handmade mini vase by Melbourne-based ceramic artist Naoko Coghlan.
Add a touch of charm to your room with these delicate flowers!

Earrings and Necklace

Come and join this hands-on workshop where you’ll learn the traditional Japanese art of Mizuhiki – decorative paper cord knotting – and make your very own necklace and a pair of earrings.
I’ll guide you step-by-step, sharing the cultural stories and meanings behind each knot.

Each piece you create will be truly one-of-a-kind, reflecting your personal colour and style choices. No experience needed – just bring your creativity!
